The Platform

An Integrated Investment, Not a Single Asset

ProBasalt isn't a single production line — it's three linked positions: a qualified upstream resource (Oman basalt, evaluated and being developed as a supply corridor), an integrated manufacturing base in Canada, and a downstream product portfolio designed to reduce single-market dependence. Because the group already controls direct, evaluated access to its own basalt resource, ProBasalt isn't exposed to the spot-market feedstock pricing and third-party supply risk that raw-material-dependent competitors carry — a structural advantage most producers in this space don't have.

Sustainability

Sustainability as an Investment Consideration

Basalt fiber is produced from natural volcanic rock through a comparatively direct route — crushed, washed, melted and drawn into continuous fiber — but the process still requires mining, transport and high-temperature energy, so it isn't impact-free. The larger environmental case is lifecycle-based: basalt-based products resist corrosion, cut repeated maintenance, and extend the service life of the structures they're used in.

Because the raw material is naturally formed volcanic stone rather than a synthetic, chemically engineered input, basalt fiber production falls squarely within the scope of Canada's Clean Technology Manufacturing Investment Tax Credit — a federal program that specifically recognizes critical-mineral extraction and processing as clean technology. That's third-party, government-level recognition of the "green" positioning, rather than a self-declared claim.

Sustainability is not a label. It is an engineering responsibility.
