ProBasalt Canada connects secure, evaluated basalt resources in Oman with advanced fiber-manufacturing in Canada — creating a single industrial platform built to serve construction, infrastructure, transportation, automotive, aerospace, marine and energy markets across Canada and North America.

Oman resource base Canadian manufacturing North American applications

Qualified basalt stone is evaluated and sourced from Oman, transformed into continuous fiber at the Canadian facility, and converted into products engineered for North American industrial requirements. Each stage of the platform is designed to inform the next — the stone is selected for what the fiber requires, the fiber is engineered for what the product requires, and the product is developed for a real, identified industrial need.

Why Canada

Canada gives ProBasalt a transparent, credible industrial base: a mature advanced-manufacturing ecosystem spanning automotive, aerospace, clean technology and composites; direct access to sophisticated Canadian and North American customers and supply chains; and a research environment — including Canada's National Research Council — built for advanced materials collaboration. A Canadian base also protects intellectual property and supports the long-term institutional relationships investors and customers expect.

The federal government backs advanced manufacturing directly, through programs including the Strategic Response Fund and the Clean Technology Manufacturing Investment Tax Credit — the latter specifically recognizes critical-mineral extraction and processing as clean technology, which basalt fiber production qualifies as. Canada also carries a AAA sovereign credit rating from two of the three major ratings agencies (S&P, Moody's), one of the strongest sovereign risk profiles in the world.

Strategic Positioning

The planned manufacturing site brings ProBasalt a specific advantage: industrial land and energy infrastructure suited to continuous fiber production, direct integration into the Oman supply corridor, and access to more than 55 million consumers within 1,000 km. The site is also situated within an emerging advanced-manufacturing and energy-innovation ecosystem still early enough for ProBasalt to help shape it.

The project places an abundant Omani resource inside a Canadian value-creation system — combining mineral security with intellectual-property protection, industrial credibility and North American customer access.

EXECUTION CONFIDENCE — The project is grounded in established melt-and-fiber technology, identified equipment sources, documented process knowledge and a sponsor team with decades of basalt-fiber development experience.

The platform is designed to expand over time into multiaxial reinforcements, structural grids and pultruded profiles as application-specific demand develops. Final configuration remains subject to engineering, validation and commercial agreements.

Resource Qualification Discipline

The value of a basalt deposit isn't determined by reserve size or appearance — it's determined by chemical balance, mineral stability, melting behaviour and repeatable fiber-forming performance. This is the discipline ProBasalt applies before a single tonne is committed to production. Because the group already controls direct, evaluated access to this resource, ProBasalt isn't exposed to the spot-market feedstock pricing and third-party supply risk that raw-material-dependent competitors carry.
